Invincible #42
A special 1.99 price this month, and the promise of a “new-reader friendly” start to the next story arc. From the covers I’ve seen, it looks like Mark is going back into space, which is interesting because he just got back from space in the last issue. But I like space. A lot. So this is okay.
Irredeemable Ant-Man #9
Another Robert Kirkman comic. I am the only person who likes this book. What is wrong with YOU. Ant-Man now works for Damage Control and continues to steal, lie, and hide in showers. Also, Phil Hester and Ande Parks return on art.
Black Diamond Detective Agency
Go Eddie Campbell. I really shouldn’t buy this because I have no money, but I’m sure that if it’s staring me in the face, I will buckle.
Black Summer #0
So that’s the set-up: John Horus, most beloved of the original Seven Guns team of superhuman streetfighters, has killed the President of the United States for arranging an illegal war. He has a plan, and that plan is even more frightening. (from here)
Only 99 cents supposedly. A small price for Warren Ellis killing the fictional president. (hi DHS!)
