Also, what happened to you, America? You used to let Captain Beefheart come on to live national television with a cigarette in his hand to sing songs for you. Now you don’t allow anything on TV that doesn’t involve text messages.

The internet has told me that my friend Joel Ford has started posting freshly mixed recordings of his Jazz Opera, The Cannabis Cantata, onto his compositions page.

Joel’s cantata is in part based upon Bach’s Coffee Cantata and is an all around example of awesome which happens to include an oreo costume.
